EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

What drives the achievements of the most successful leaders? According to research published by Harvard Business School, 90% of the difference in performance by leaders is due to emotional intelligence, or EQ rather than IQ. For those in leadership roles, people skills even more so than technical abilities, predict performance and profits. Learn how to flex your emotional intelligence to bring out the best in your teams, problem-solve and connect with those around you.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Would you like to inspire the success of those around you? Are you ready to tap into the emotions and feelings that operate beneath the surface of every interaction? Do you want to learn the secrets of fostering more effective collaboration and creating a happier healthier team?

This course on the fundamentals of emotional intelligence tackles a number of the most important but least talked about skills in business. The ‘soft skills’ of emotional intelligence make a concrete impact on business success. In fact, comprehensive research analysing revenue generation by division leaders across the United States, Asia and Europe, showed higher levels of emotional intelligence led to overachieving in yearly earnings, while low financial performance was directly linked to lower EQ. Learn how to understand and manage emotions the way the top-performing leaders do.

During this course, you’ll understand how to identify and work with the ‘invisible’ factors influencing others as well as yourself. We’ll dive into techniques of empathy, communication skills, problem solving, personal development, and team empowerment.

By developing your own emotional intelligence, you’ll be able to inspire cooperation in others and foster collaborative relationships. Understand methods to strengthen interpersonal relationships by using active listening and empathy to resolve conflicts, tactics to overcome negative beliefs and techniques to connect more effectively with those around us. Become an inspiring leader who is well-versed in navigating emotional challenges with colleagues and customers.
