PERSONAL BRANDING

Though the concept of personal branding is not new, questions remain about how to create one and, more importantly, what it means to maintain and inhabit that brand. This course is your opportunity to define your brand and to learn the strategies to showcase and manage your brand once it’s established.

Modules

Module 1: An overview of personal branding

  • The goal of this module is to help you gain an understanding of the basic purpose, benefits and responsibilities of branding, and to begin the process of defining your values, gifts and goals. This will be supplemented with students defining their own personality type.

Module 2: Building your brand's infrastructure

  • As with any other construction project, infrastructure is absolutely key to the successful creation of your brand. In this module, we will discuss key elements including authenticity and the importance of choosing three cornerstone words, your mission statement and why you should incorporate your photo into your brand.

Module 3: Establishing your brand's digital home

  • A guide to claiming your parts of the web. When it comes to social media platforms, you have lots of choices. At the end of this lesson, you will have identified three platforms that best fit your brand.

Module 4: Creating your brand’s maintenance plan

  • This module focuses on the pros and cons (and nuts and bolts) of creating a maintenance plan for your brand.

Module 5: Your online identity

  • In this module you will learn how reputation and digital privacy affect your brand.

Trainer

Warren Stanworth is the Academic Dean of the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management in academic association with Les Roches (AIHM). Overseeing planning and development at levels of the institute, he drives excellence in teaching through pedagogical innovations and incorporating new technologies in the learning experience. Warren holds postgraduate degrees from the University of Huddersfield, Lancaster University and the University of Central Lancashire. A recipient of numerous teaching awards, he brings a depth of professional experience gained through many years of designing and implementing courses at universities and professional institutes across the UK and Thailand – as well as intercultural insight gained through teaching and mentoring a diverse range of international students from over twenty countries.

Our course is designed for ambitious professionals. There are no admission requirements to enroll in this course. You can come from any sector and bring a host of background experiences.

DEADLINE

We must receive payment at least five days before the start of the course. Late enrollments can be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
