COURSE DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to unlock the potential in those around you? Do you aspire to be the kind of leader who not only manages but truly inspires others to achieve their best? The "Introduction to Coaching" course is your gateway to becoming a transformational leader. In just one day, you’ll discover how to harness the power of coaching to influence, inspire and elevate your team, creating a culture of growth and achievement.

Through this course, you will dive deep into the essentials of effective coaching, starting with the renowned GROW model. You’ll learn how to: (1) set clear, actionable goals, (2) explore the realities your team faces, (3) brainstorm creative options to achieve the objectives, and (4) commit to a path forward with a dedicated action plan. This model will serve as the foundation for your coaching practice, enabling you to guide others with confidence and clarity.

This coaching course is highly experiential, with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice. You’ll engage in dynamic exercises designed to build your skills in rapport building and calibration, two critical components of successful coaching. You’ll learn how to create a strong coaching relationship through empathy and by using matching and mirroring techniques. You’ll also fine-tune your ability to observe and respond to subtle cues from those you coach.

One of the most impactful elements of this course is the coaching practice session, where you’ll rotate through three perspectives: coach, coachee and observer. This immersive experience allows you to apply what you’ve learned in real-time, giving you the opportunity to see coaching from all angles and receive valuable feedback. By the end of the day, you’ll have a solid understanding of how to conduct a coaching practice that drives real results.

This course is not just about learning new techniques; it’s about transforming your approach to leadership. You’ll walk away with practical tools and insights that you can immediately apply in your professional life. “Introduction to Coaching” empowers you to unlock the best in others and create lasting, positive change in your organisation and your own personal endeavours.
