The Postgraduate Diploma in International Hospitality Management
Our Postgraduate Diploma is designed for ambitious professionals looking to accelerate their careers in hospitality. Whether you’re a few years into your career or already in mid-management aiming higher, this programme offers the fastest pathway to leadership—and the first step towards a Master of Advanced Studies in Hospitality Management with Specialisation at Les Roches.
Why study at AIHM?
The Asian Institute of Hospitality and Management (AIHM) offers a flexible study format designed for working professionals. You can choose to study your first semester full-time or part-time, allowing you to continue working while earning your diploma.
Being based in Bangkok means you can stay close to home, maintain your job, and gain an internationally recognized qualification without the immediate need for relocation. You only need to take a leave of absence for the final semester if you choose to pursue the Master of Advanced Studies in Hospitality Management with Specialisation at Les Roches in Switzerland or Spain.
Upon graduation, you will benefit from the prestige of a Swiss qualification, a global professional network, and preferred employment status with Minor Hotels, Asia’s leading hospitality company.
Programme structure
For your first semester, you may study full-time for 18 weeks, or part-time for 30 weeks with classes held evenings, weekends and online. These take place here at the AIHM campus in Bangkok following a Les Roches-approved curriculum delivered by Les Roches-approved faculty.
The remainder of your diploma is fulfilled with a management project at your place of work. Those without a background in hospitality may alternatively pursue a hotel internship in addition to the Hospitality Immersion Programme (HIP) held at the beginning of the year.
After formally completing your diploma, you may transfer directly to the Les Roches Master of Advanced Studies in Hospitality Management with Specialisation for one final semester. This will be taught at their campus in either Switzerland or Spain, with six specialisations to choose from.
