Bio

Sombat Makhon joins us as a lecturer in operations and management systems. He is the quintessential AIHM faculty, marrying over a decade of practical experience working in some of Thailand’s most luxurious hotels with teaching skills certified by both Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland and the Thai Ministry of Tourism.

Prior to his current role, Sombat lectured at Bangkok’s International Hotel and Tourism Management School, Dusit Thani College, and Regent International College, where he managed their hospitality programme and internships.

The Front Office is the face of any hotel. It is essential to master the skills needed here – providing a welcoming ambience, customer service, and smooth management of the entire guest journey – in order to truly understand hospitality
